Hammonton Education Foundation gives $102,590.10 in Grants The Hammonton Education Foundation through grants has funded the Hammonton Schools with $102,590.10. It has also provided each of the district’s four teachers of the year with $1,000 for their classrooms. Grants are given to teachers through applications twice a year.

Teachers receive grants twice a year. Grants funded this year include new stage lighting for the middle school, new kilns for the high school art program, and more leisure read ing bo oks for the ECEC students. The Foundation has also given the district’s Teachers of the Year $500 each for a total of $8,000 over four years. The project, Books Build Bridges, not only supplied library books to the district’s schools, but also included a donation of $8,400.00 to St. Joseph’s school libraries.
